Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>La erosión es un proceso natural por el cual las corrientes de agua o el viento arrastran parte del suelo de unos puntos a otros. </SPAN><SPAN>Como proceso natural, sin intervención del hombre, ha permitido </SPAN><SPAN>que se desplacen materiales de unos suelos a otros</SPAN><SPAN>, generando fertilidad en los suelos que reciben estos aportes y que generalmente se localizan en valles interandios, en terrazas, en planicies aluviales</SPAN><SPAN>.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>De acuerdo al Protocolo de degradación de suelos y tierras por erosión – IDEAM, IGAC, MAVDT 2016, la degradación del suelo por erosión es la pérdida de la capa superficial del suelo por acción del agua o/y viento, que es mediada por el hombre, y trae consecuencias ambientales (ecológicas, sociales, económicas y culturales)</SPAN><SPAN>.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Para </SPAN><SPAN>el indicador de degradación del suelo por erosión se generan dos mapas temáticos:</SPAN></P><UL><LI><P><SPAN>Mapa temático de grados de erosión del suelo. </SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN>Mapa temático de clases de erosión del suelo</SPAN></P></LI></UL></DIV></DIV></DIV>
