Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>El término reservas de biosfera se desarrolla bajo el marco del Programa de la UNESCO sobre Hombre y Biosfera (MaB), este programa que despliega sus bases dentro la mejora de las relaciones entre las personas y su medio ambiente, a lo largo de sus años de funcionamiento ha ido centrando sus actuaciones en la figura de RESERVA DE BIOSFERA promoviendo su funcionamiento y potenciando sobre todo la Red Mundial de Reservas de Biosfera.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Por medio de esta figura se busca la consolidación en aplicación de proyectos de conservación y uso sostenible de la diversidad biológica, para la gestión integrada de los recursos naturales y el desarrollo de programas científicos.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Las reservas de biosfera son zonas de ecosistemas terrestres o costeros/marinos, o una combinación de los mismos, reconocidas en el plano internacional como tales en el marco del Programa sobre el Hombre y la Biosfera (MAB) de la UNESCO. </SPAN></P><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;"><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
